At Texas Presa Canario, we are dedicated to producing exceptional companions and guardians that embody the true essence of the Presa Canario breed through ethical breeding practices. Our journey began with in-depth research and close collaboration with top breeders in Spain and the Canary Islands. Through extensive travel and firsthand experiences, we carefully selected and imported only the finest examples of high-caliber show and working Presa Canarios—also known as Dogo Canarios. 

As honored guests of some of the world’s most respected breeders, we had the privilege of meeting those behind the most prestigious bloodlines in existence today. From renowned champions to breeders preserving the breed’s rustic, traditional form, we explored the full spectrum of the Presa Canario’s heritage. We also learned directly from the keepers of the oldest lines in Spain, gaining invaluable insight into the breed’s history and evolution.

The dogs we handpicked during these travels represent the highest quality we have encountered worldwide. This foundation led to the creation of our now more than two-decade-long selective breeding program, showcasing our commitment to ethical breeding practices. Our bloodlines feature some of the greatest champions of all time, proudly representing the finest genetics the Presa Canario world has to offer, alongside our passion for various breeds, including French Bulldogs.
